Our approach
Located in Victoria's cool climate Macedon Ranges wine region, Forty Paces is a tiny 2 acre vineyard producing long lived Pinot Noir. From vine to wine, every aspect of growing and making our wine is hand crafted. We practice minimal intervention vineyard management and winemaking techniques, with no pesticides or herbicides applied.
Our Wines
Our singular focus is Pinot Noir. We do not make a wine every year; Mother Nature is never that kind. So you will only see our wines from the most favourable vintages. And occasionally, when Mother Nature is generous, we may produce a Rosé. Multiple expressions of a single variety from a single location.
